Winter Hiking Tip Vallunga
Close to Sëlva in Val Gardena, which lies in the heart of the Parco Naturale Puez Odle is the small Vallunga Valley - a natural treasure worth visiting any time of the year. There is an easy hiking trail that winds through the Valley, offering excellent views of the Stevia massif, the Puez Group on the one side and Mount Col Turond and the Chedul mountains on the other. A thick blanket of snow covering the landscape during the winter and the small St. Sylvester Chapel at the entrance to the Valley adds to the idyllic charm.
