Transhumance in South Tyrol
In the traditional transhumance, usually staged in September, cows, sheep, goats and horses are welcomed in the valley with a huge celebration. Typical folk music and home-made treats for the palate make these celebrations perfect for getting an insight into local customs and traditions.
