The Upper Isarco Valley
The Upper Isarco Valley on the South Tyrol side is located along one of the main north-south roads through the Alps and — due to the Brennero Pass — has always been one of the most well-known border passes. Today it houses many particular features and places to visit, offering a diverse mix suitable for nature lovers, active holiday-makers, and those looking for cultural attractions. Near the central town of Vipiteno, a visit to the most secluded sites and side valleys is certainly worthwhile.
