South Tyrolean Wine Museum
The South Tyrolean Wine Museum in Caldaro has many interesting items on display, introducing visitors up close to viticulture and winemaking from long ago. It also includes a beautiful garden with more than 30 grape varieties, some nearly forgotten, which can also be tasted in autumn. Anything you would like to learn about wine and winemaking in South Tyrol can be found here. Last but not least is the famous ‘Saltner’, which once watched over the precious fruit.
