Snow-Shoe Hiking at Lake Braies
The frozen Lake Braies, located at the foot of Mount Croda del Becco is a beautiful place to begin a snow-shoe hiking tour. Walking across the lake, and following the trail through a snow-covered forest before ascending to the Malga Foresta mountain hut, should be on the itinerary for anyone visiting the Val Braies Valley with a passion for the great outdoors. The ascent takes only an hour, and after a short break, the tour continues back down to Lake Braies.
