Predoi Tourist Mine
The former copper mine in Predoi in the Valle Aurina valley fascinates the young and the old. A tour inside of the mountain gives an insight into the hard work of the miners and also a hike along the so-called “Knappensteig” path shows interesting details about the century-long mining history in the Valle Aurina valley. In the mine also a place of retreat can be found, the climatic tunnel of Predoi. People with respiratory problems find special air conditions there, which can relieve illnesses.
