Around 30.000 Dolomite Ladins live in the heart of the Dolomites in the provinces of Belluno and Bolzano. The identity of the Ladin people is shaped by centuries of history, their unique language derived from popular Latin and the matchless mountain landscapes of the Dolomites. Since 2001 the Museum Ladin has been protecting the history, language and culture of the Ladin ethnic minority and casts a thrilling glance into the correlation between the land and way of life
