Lake Braies in winter
In winter Lake Braies, the Pearl of the Dolomites, is hidden under a thick layer of ice and snow. A winter walk around the lake is both romantic and adventurous. Situated at about 1,500 metres a.s.l., the mountain lake is part of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park and a protected natural monument.
