Hiking Tip: Rifugio Giogo Lungo
Hiking in the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina national park is a challenging, yet relaxing mountain tour at the back of the Val Aurina valley. The trail runs past the remains of the Pedoi mines, leading to the Rossa Valley all the way up to the Giogo Lungo mountain hut. The return journey goes through the picturesque Valle del Vento Valley.
