Hike along the Brandis Waalweg path
During the middle of the 19th Century, the Count of Brandis constructed water channels for irrigation purposes. Today the water doesn't flow anymore; however, the channels still remain, known as the Brandis Waalweg path. The path is in use all year round and is one of the most well-loved in the Merano countryside. We decided to explore these old channels during Autumn.
