Gitschberg - Jochtal
The villages of Rio Pusteria, Maranza and Valles are situated in the heart of the Gitschberg-Jochtal holiday area, characterised by lovely alpine pastures. The sunny high plateau provides a vast network of hiking trails. Also cities such as Bolzano and Bressanone can easily be reached from this area. From the top of the Gitschberg you can by the way admire 500 mountain peaks, from the Ortles mountain group to the Brenta Dolomites and the Stubai Alps.
