Favogna in autumn
Nestled in a basin on a high plateau in the municipality of Magrè sulla Strada del Vino, in the south of South Tyrol, Lake Favogna is a small natural jewel. The area around the lake has been protected since 1977 and, as a biotope, offers hundreds of animal and plant species an ideal habitat. A popular hiking destination at any time of year, the autumnal colours make appeear Lake Favogna truly magical.
