Christmas Magic in Chiusa
The residents of Chiusa have pulled out all the stops to bathe their beautiful medieval town in the warm glow of candlelight. Every weekend during Advent, Chiusa’s Christmas market welcomes visitors with mugs of steaming vin brulé, delicious krapfen, and beautiful, handcrafted South Tyrolean gifts. Each weekend has a different theme, and thanks to the hard work and dedication of the locals, each becomes a truly special occasion. A living nativity scene winds its way through Chiusa’s medieval alleyways, the medieval association displays its traditional costumes and crafts, and on the last Sunday, an angel even graces the town with their presence.
