What would South Tyrol be without the Törggelen? Here, where grapes and chestnuts ripen from early October to late November, farmhouses, restaurants, and wineries open their Stuben. This is also true of Schenna, near Meran, in the Burggrafenamt district. Here, in autumn and afternoons of the Törggelen and along the hiking trails, everything revolves around chestnuts!
