Along the Hirzel Trail
The Catinaccio Group and its beauty are widely recognized. But not everyone knows that along the Hirzel Trail — not far from the Roda di Vaèl lodge — is a monument dedicated to Theodor Christomannos. Specifically, this is an eagle 2.7 m high and weighing 350 kilograms that majestically observes the Latemar landscape. Our hike winds its way from Nova Ponente to the Roda di Vaèl lodge and returns on the Paolina chair lift.
